Blondie – amerykański zespół rockowy, należący, obok Ramones czy Television, do pionierów punk rocka i będący częścią nowojorskiej, skupionej wokół klubu CBGB, sceny punkrockowej, a później jedną z najpopularniejszych grup reprezentujących gatunek nowej fali w stanie Nowy Jork.
Grupa wykonywała melodyjne piosenki, niekiedy odwołujące się do hard rocka.
Grupa po odniesieniu wielkich sukcesów po obu stronach Atlantyku rozpadła się w 1982 wskutek tarć personalnych. W 1997 została reaktywowana w oryginalnym składzie dla przeprowadzenia trasy koncertowej. Rok później nagrano nowy album.
Piosenka zespołu pt. „Heart of Glass” została umieszczona na liście 500 piosenek, które ukształtowały rock, utworzonej przez Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
W 2005 roku zespół wystąpił na Festiwalu Jedynki w Sopocie. W tym samym roku grupa została wprowadzona do Rock and Roll Hall of Fame[2].
