Tansu Çiller (ur. 24 maja 1946) – turecka ekonomistka, polityk, premier Turcji (1993–1996)[1].

Życiorys

Ukończyła ekonomię, a od 1983 jest profesorem Uniwersytetu Boğaziçi. Będąc bezkompromisową zwolenniczką gospodarki wolnorynkowej, związała się z Partią Słusznej Drogi i została – w 1991 – doradcą premiera Süleymana Demirela, a następnie – do 1993 – była ministrem do spraw gospodarki. 25 czerwca 1993 została – jako pierwsza kobieta w historii Turcjipremierem i była nim do 6 marca 1996 (trzy gabinety). W latach 1996–1997 była ministrem spraw zagranicznych.
