A three-quarter-length portrait, standing, hands clasped in front of her, and wearing a sumptuous brocade dress and jewellery. This is a cut-down seventeeenth or eighteenth copy of a lost portrait once in the Royal Collection and a full-length version, attributed to Master John, of the same sitter is in the National Portrait Gallery, London (NPG 4451).
ElizabethWoodville.JPG
Elizabeth Woodville (1437-1492), Queen Consort of Edward IV of England.
The portrait of her shown here is probably a multiple-generation copy of one taken from life. The College has several versions in differing states. She is shown posed in the high fashion of the day, with strained back hair and a partial veil.

Holbein, Hans (II) - Portrait of a lady, probably of the Cromwell Family formerly known as Catherine Howard.jpg
Portrait of a lady, probably of the Cromwell family, perhaps Elizabeth Seymour (c.1518–1568), sister of Jane, third consort of Henry VIII and wife of Gregory Cromwell, 1st Baron Cromwell.
Katharine of Aragon with a monkey.jpg
This is the largest miniature of Henry VIII's first wife. Three other miniatures exist, but two are circular copies of this original; the third is believed to be a companion piece to a miniature of the king. A unique feature of this work is that it includes Katharine's hands. All of Horenbout's other miniatures focused on the head and shoulders. All of his portraits have plain blue backgrounds and are traced with a gold line. Later artists such as Nicholas Hilliard inherited this style and continued it into the 17th century.
