The Harmon Hotel – w założeniu miał stanowić superluksusowy hotel butikowy, położony przy ulicy Las Vegas Strip w Paradise, w stanie Nevada. Został zaprojektowany przez Lord Norman Foster & Partners i był operowany przez The Light Group.
Historia
W początkowych stadiach projektu, hotel zwany był Lifestyle Hotel, a następnie The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences. Oryginalnie wieża miała składać się z 400 pokoi oraz 207 rezydencji mieszkalnych, położonych na 49 piętrach. Projekt budynku stworzył osobiście Norman Foster[1][2][3]. Prace nad zewnętrznymi elementami obiektu ukończone zostały w 2009 roku, jednak kompletowanie jego wnętrza trwało przez cały 2010 rok.
Redukcja w zakresie projektu
Pod koniec 2008 roku, po skompletowaniu 15 kondygnacji budynku, prace nad Harmon Hotel zostały przerwane, kiedy inspektorzy odkryli wady konstrukcyjne w postaci niewłaściwej instalacji zbrojeniowej[1]. Błędy te spowodowały radykalne zmiany w projekcie obiektu; liczba pięter została zredukowana do 28, zaś apartamenty mieszkalne (The Harmon Residences) zostały całkowicie wykreślone z planów[4]. Jednak już w tamtym okresie 88 z 207 mieszkań zostało wstępnie zarezerwowanych przez kupców, którzy uiścili opłatę w wysokości 20% kosztu całkowitego. W obliczu zmian architektonicznych, kilkudziesięciu osobom zaoferowano zwrot pieniędzy lub możliwość zakupu apartamentów w innych budynkach[1]. Ze względu na opóźnienia w realizacji projektu, wykończeniowe prace budowlane zostały przerwane na czas nieokreślony[5][6]. Ze względu na szereg wad konstrukcyjnych, korporacja MGM Resorts International, właściciel CityCenter, zdecydowała o całkowitym wyburzeniu obiektu[7].

The version with a profile view was based on Flags of the World and as a fictional design has no status warranting a place on any Wiki. It was made up by a random person with no connection to the island, it has never flown on the island, and it has never received any sort of recognition or validation by any authority. The person quoted on that page has no authority to bestow a flag, "unofficial" or otherwise, on the island.

Flag of the State of Nevada. The flag is described in Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 235, Sec. 20 as follows: The body of the flag must be of solid cobalt blue. On the field in the upper left quarter thereof must be two sprays of Sagebrush with the stems crossed at the bottom to form a half wreath. Within the sprays must be a five-pointed silver star with one point up. The word “Nevada” must also be inscribed below the star and above the sprays, in a semicircular pattern with the letters spaced apart in equal increments, in the same style of letters as the words “Battle Born.” Above the wreath, and touching the tips thereof, must be a scroll bearing the words “Battle Born.” The scroll and the word “Nevada” must be golden-yellow. The lettering on the scroll must be black-colored sans serif gothic capital letters.
