36. Mistrzostwa świata w łyżwiarstwie szybkim w wieloboju sprinterskim odbyły się w Salt Lake City, w Stanach Zjednoczonych, w dniach 22–23 stycznia 2005. Zawody rozegrano w hali Utah Olympic Oval. Zawodnicy dwukrotnie startowali na dystansach 500 i 1000 metrów. Najwyższy stopień podium przypadł Amerykance Jennifer Rodriguez oraz Holendrowi Erbenowi Wennemarsowi.
