100 m stylem dowolnym mężczyzn – jedna z konkurencji pływackich rozgrywanych podczas XV Igrzysk Olimpijskich w Helsinkach. Eliminacje i półfinały odbyły się 26 lipca, a finał 27 lipca 1952 roku.
W finale, po pierwszych 25 m prowadził Szwed Göran Larsson, ale to Amerykanin Clarke Scholes pierwszy wykonał nawrót. Scholes pozostał na pierwszym miejscu do końca wyścigu, uzyskując czas 57,4 s. Wicemistrzem olimpijskim został Hiroshi Suzuki z Japonii, który rywalizację również zakończył z czasem 57,4 s, ale sędziowie zdecydowali o przyznaniu złota Scholesowi. Brązowy medal zdobył Larsson (58,2).
