200 m stylem grzbietowym mężczyzn – jedna z konkurencji pływackich rozgrywanych podczas XIX Igrzysk Olimpijskich w Meksyku. Eliminacje i finał odbyły się 25 października 1968 roku.
Mistrzem olimpijskim został rekordzista świata Roland Matthes reprezentujący NRD. W finale Matthes czasem 2:09,6 ustanowił nowy rekord olimpijski. Amerykanie Mitch Ivey i Jack Horsley prowadzili na półmetku wyścigu, ale ostatecznie, z czasem 2:10,6 Ivey zdobył srebrny medal, podczas gdy Horsley wywalczył brąz z wynikiem 2:10,9.
