Trap mężczyzn na Letnich Igrzyskach Olimpijskich w Londynie był rozgrywany w Royal Artillery Barracks w Londynie.
Format
W kwalifikacjach wystąpiło 34 zawodników, z których każdy oddał po 125 strzałów (5 serii po 25 strzałów). W każdej serii zawodnik ma do zestrzelenia 25 dysków, z których 10 wyrzuconych było w lewo, 10 w prawo i 5 prosto. Zawodnicy mogli wykonać dwa strzały do tego samego celu. Do finału awansowało 6 najlepszych strzelców. W finale każdy z zawodników oddał po 25 strzałów. Punkty z kwalifikacji sumowane są z punktami zdobytymi w finale[1].
