Magazyn prowadzi od roku 1947 ranking najlepszych lekkoatletów świata w poszczególnych specjalnościach (kobiet od 1956, chodziarzy od 1970).
Od 1959 (dla kobiet od 1974) czasopismo przyznaje tytuły Lekkoatlety Roku (Track & Field Athlete of the Year). W pierwszej edycji rankingu kobiet tytuł przyznano Irenie Szewińskiej.
