Victor Negrescu (ur. 17 sierpnia 1985 w Bukareszcie[1]) – rumuński polityk, deputowany do Parlamentu Europejskiego VIII i IX kadencji, minister delegowany (2017–2018).

Życiorys

Absolwent Universitatea de Vest din Timișoara. Pracował jako doradca polityczny i w strukturach lokalnych Partii Socjaldemokratycznej, do której wstąpił w 2007[2]. Został wiceprzewodniczącym partii w okręgu Alba[3].

W wyborach w 2014 z ramienia lewicowej koalicji skupionej wokół PSD kandydował do Europarlamentu. Mandat europosła uzyskał, gdy przed rozpoczęciem kadencji z jego objęcia zrezygnowała Ecaterina Andronescu[3]. W PE dołączył do frakcji Postępowego Sojuszu Socjalistów i Demokratów[1]. W 2015 wybrany na wiceprzewodniczącego PSD[4].

W czerwcu 2017 został ministrem delegowanym do spraw europejskich w rządzie Mihaia Tudosego[5]. Utrzymał tę funkcję również w powołanym w styczniu 2018 gabinecie Vioriki Dăncili[6], kończąc jednak urzędowanie w listopadzie tegoż roku[4].

W 2019 ponownie uzyskał mandat posła do PE IX kadencji, jednak jego objęcie zostało zawieszone do czasu brexitu[7]. Ostatecznie w Europarlamencie IX kadencji zasiadł w lutym 2020[1].

Euranet Plus, the leading radio network for EU news, hosted a Citizens’ Corner debate on the digital rights of EU citizens at the European Parliament in Brussels on January 20. The debate was jointly produced by Euranet Plus and Latvijas Radio, a member of the Euranet Plus network.

The bilingual debate was moderated by journalist Artjoms Konohovs of Latvijas Radio (in Latvian) and Brian Maguire of the Euranet Plus News Agency in Brussels (in English). The debate also featured students of the Euranet Plus campus radio network from Poland (Radio Kampus, Warsaw) and Finland (Radio Moreeni, Tampere).
