World Doubles Cup 1997 był ostatnim turniejem z cyklu deblowych Mistrzostw WTA rozgrywanych od 1975 roku. Ostatnia XXIII edycja została po raz trzeci rozegrana na ziemnych kortach Craiglockhart Tennis Centre w Edynburgu. Turniej odbył się w dniach 21-24 maja 1997 roku. Nicole Arendt i Manon Bollegraf broniły tytułu sprzed roku. Udało im się to po wygraniu finału przeciwko Rachel McQuillan i Nana Miyagi.
