Zawody złożone były z dwóch konkurencji: biegu masowego i biegu pościgowego.
Tytułów sprzed roku nie obronili finka Kaisa Mäkäräinen oraz szwed Carl Johan Bergman.
W zawodach zwyciężyła para rosyjska Jekatierina Jurłowa i Anton Szypulin.
