1962 Ford Thunderbird Sports Roadster
The ’62-’63 T-bird Sports Roadster, with it’s removable fiberglass tonneau covering the back seat, was a reminiscent of the ’55-’57 two-seater. Those nice looking Kelsey-Hayes wire wheels were part of the Sports Roadster package. With the price tag stating $5439 it was quite expensive, some 14 per cent more than the regular convertible and production only reached 1,427 units in 1962 and a mere 455 in 1963.
