Medium Yellow. The Mustang began to get fat and lazy, bigger and heavier in 1971. The 1971 and 1972 Mustangs were nearly identical. The Mach 1, that was introduced in 1969, was the sporty model, only available in the Sportsroof, the 1971-72 model featured Nasa style scoops on a striped hood, hockey stripes on the side, front and rear spoilers and sports wheels. Engine available 1972:
