Opis:

A so-called Real Photo postcard (RPPC), taken by the photographer Alfred Grohs subtitled "Duke and Duchess of Brunswick in front of the town hall at the funeral of General von Emmich". The same image with a different image description was also published by Gustav Liersch & Co. with the same continuous (order) number 7592, but with a slightly altered title "... talking to the Grand Duke of Oldenburg". The photo shows in the foreground Ernst August of Hannover (III.) Duke of Brunswick, Duke of Brunswick and Lüneburg, Prince of Hannover with his wife Viktoria Luise, Duchess of Brunswick-Lüneburg, Princess of Hannover, Princess of Great Britain and Ireland on the Tramplatz talking to Grand Duke Augustus II. of Oldenburg (with Pickelhaube) shortly before the funeral procession with a large entourage of the late General Otto von Emmich to Engesohder Friedhof. The two men in the background are unidentified.
