Opis:

Canal of Burgondy at Créancey, Côte-d'Or, Bourgogne, France. The "tranchée de Créancey" ("Créancey Trench"), thus called because the canal here is deep-dug so as to avoid having to build more locks. Just around the bend ahead starts the 3.3 km-long tunnel where the canal reaches its highest point and crosses the dividing line between the Seine basin and the Rhône basin.
