Opis:

Common Milkwort (Polygala vulgaris) These rather strange flowers have stamens which look like slim petals in radiating bunches. Blue flowers are more common than mauve ones like these, and it also occurs in white. The leaves in the photo do not belong to it. A chalk-loving species, this one was found in the old Coploe Hill chalk pit.
