Opis:

Biogeography of the Crocodylia. Number in brackets refer to number of species. After Alderton (1991),^[1] modified according to range data from IUCN Red List. Note that Tomistoma schlegelii, the “false gharial”, is traditionally included in the Crocodylidae whereas new molecular data suggest an assignment to the Gavialidae. Hence, its spatial range is indicated in red as is that of Gavialis gangeticus.
