View shows Decatur Street looking downriver from above St. Philip Street. North Peters Street Vs off to the right. The "Red Store" building seen at far right. At left is a sidewalk gallery with a row of signs for shops along the street, with pedestrians on sidewalk, period trucks on the street. The roof of the Vegetable Market building of the French Market (where the Morning Call was) is seen at center above a truck which blocks the view of the rest of the building.
