Opis:
Built 1939. Flew with 98sqn and was operating from Kaldadames, Iceland, when it crash-landed following engine failure in bad weather on Friday 13th September 1940. Remains recovered in 1972 and were joined, in 1977, by remains from L5340 recovered from Canada. Major restoration work began at RAF St Athan in 1983 and completed in 1990, with the aircraft moving to Hendon. Further restoration work was carried out by the Medway Aircraft Preservation Society between 2006 and 2008 and since then she has been on display in the Bomber Command Hall at the RAF Museum, Hendon, London, UK
