- Left is a graphic display of the ascending/descending rate in 1/5 meter per second (i.e. four segments above zero represent an ascending of 0.8 meter per second as shown in this example)
- On top is the equivalent value as described in numeric form
- In the middle is the actual hight above sea level in meter and the current time
- The lowest field is reserved for status icons of the instrument
