Opis:

Cross-section of a practical version of Heron's fountain (Heron's siphon). Water flows from the basin to the lower container, which causes air pressure to the upper container to push water out the spout. The action is not paradoxical because the net flow of water, from the upper container to the lower one (by way of the basin) is downward.
