A U.S. Navy Lockheed P-3C Orion (BuNo 160287) from Patrol Squadron 4 (VP-4) takes off from Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sicily (Italy), to support the search for EgyptAir flight MS804. The U.S. Navy was providing a P-3 Orion in support of the Hellenic Armed Forces, the Joint Rescue Coordination Center in Greece, in response to a request by the U.S. Embassy in Athens, Greece for assistance in the search for the missing Egyptian aircraft.
