3-side-view of a Lockheed TO-1 Shooting Star. The U.S. Navy used 53 F-80C as TO-1 (later redesignated TV-1) mainly for training. 16 also equipped Marine fighter squadron VMF-311 in 1948, others served with fighter squadron VF-52.
