A Romanian Air Force Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21 LanceR takes off on the runway of the 71st Air Base Wing, at Campi Turzii (Romania), during an aerial demonstration as part of operation “Dacian Thunder 2009”, on 26 October 2009. During the operation the U.S. Air Force flew about 100 sorties; half of which were with the Romanian Air Force.
