Polish Centre, King Street, W6 There has been a Polish community in the Hammersmith/Acton area for many years, long before Poland's entry to the EU or even the fall of the Iron Curtain. Many of the original settlers would have been Allied servicemen during World War 2. This is their cultural centre.
