Opis:

This March 15, 1978, photo of the George C. Marshall Space Flight Center shows the Space Shuttle Orbiter Enterprise being towed on Rideout Road to Building 4755 for later testing at the Dynamic Test Stand (not visible in photo) for vibration testing as part of the Mated Vertical Ground Vibration tests (MVGVT). The tests marked the first time ever that the entire shuttle complement (including Orbiter, external tank, and solid rocket boosters) were mated vertically. Here, it has just passed Building 4732, the Aero-Astrodynamics Laboratory, on its right. The tall building in the distance is Marshall's main administrative office building.
