Opis:

St Giles' churchyard This has become a small public open space and footway overshadowed by blocks of flats. However several mature trees and a few weathered tombs remain. One of them is the grave of Thomas Chapman translator of Homer (died 1634); the first victims of the Great Plague were also buried here.
