Opis:

Repairing broken windows at the American canteen, Brisbane, November 1942. The broken glass and damage was the result of what became known as the Battle of Brisbane between Australian and American servicemen and by 8pm on the 27th of November, over 2000 poeptle were involved in the disturbance. There were fights at various Canteens around Brisbane and the ground floor of the American PX was demolished. (Information taken from Ralph, B. They passed this way).
