U.S. Patent 1,061,206 1909 October 21 – Turbine – Improvements in rotary engines and turbines; Mechanical power based the vehicle of fluid for power; Known as the Tesla turbine; Bladeless turbine design; Utilizes boundary layer effect; Fluid does not impact the blades as in a conventional turbine.
