Central Command Area of Responsibility April 20 2003, the guided missile destroyer USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) conducts a high-speed maneuver after an underway replenishment with the Military Sealift Command fleet oiler USNS Kanawha (T-AO 196). Donald Cook is one of the many warships in the Central Command's area of responsibility, supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. Operation Iraqi Freedom is the multi-national coalition effort to liberate the Iraqi people, eliminate Iraq's weapons of mass destruction and end the regime of Saddam Hussein.
