Opis:

The U.S. Navy destroyer escort USS Tisdale (DE-33) photographed during World War II, probably upon her return to the U.S. in about August 1945 as she appears to be flying a long homeward bound pennant. On 14 June 1945, Tisdale departed Okinawa and headed for Leyte, Philippines. After some repairs, she cleared Leyte on 30 June and steamed, via Eniwetok and Pearl Harbor, back to the United States. She arrived in San Francisco, California (USA), on 1 August 1945 and sailed to Portland, Oregon four days later.
