Opis:
A port bow view of the U.S. Navy nuclear-powered strategic missile submarine USS Ulysses S. Grant (SSBN-631) entering port.

Note: The original description gives the location as Naval Air Station Barbers Point, Hawaii (USA), on 1 February 1991. However, NAS Barbers Point had no port, it would probably then be Pearl Harbor. Also, Ulysses S. Grant operated in the Pacific Ocean from 1965 to 1969 she was then relocated to the Atlantic Ocean. The hull number visible also dates this photo more to the early service life of the submarine.

Pictogram voting comment.svg Komentarz The date of picture is incorrect, as the Grant was operating on a patrol in the North Atlantic theater and returned to Holy Loch, Dunoon, Scotland on 18 March 1991, to be turned over to the Blue Crew for refit. I was on the Blue Crew. -Kevin Moakley, TM Div.—Preceding unsigned comment was added by 74.92.42.253 (talk) 00:44, 26 January 2010 (UTC)
